It's been a while since I updated this page; sorry.
New SkyRipper Systems page with preliminary information
Added first look at the RATT Works L/M casing set to the RATT page.
Added PentaMAX information to ProPoly page.
Thanks to Andrew MacMillen, .eng files for the HyperTEK M1040 and the ProPoly motors are on the Downloads page.

Tuesday, December 11

Added links to the Vatsass Brothers remarkable website, documenting their flight of a West Coast hybrid. Also added pictures to the Gallery page.
Andrew MacMillen has contributed a RockSim .ENG file for the West Coast I110. Thanks, Andrew!
Chuck Rudy kindly sent along a clip from his DVD of the NYPOWER launch, which you can learn more about here.

Thursday, July 25

Added thrust curves to the four certified Propulsion Polymers motors.

Thursday, July 18

Set up a new page for West Coast Hybrids. Their I motor is now certified by CAR and legal for Tripoli ranges. Very interesting approach to a floating-injector motor!

Sunday, July 14

Linked to the Tri City Skybusters web site. This club is VERY into hybrids, and the web site is outstanding.
Video and stills from NYPOWER in Geneseo, NY added to the Gallery pages. What a meet; there were at least 20 hybrid flights, including a RATT Works K240, a HyperTEK M1000, and a TWO STAGE AeroTech hybrid!

Monday, June 10

Instead of struggling with the message board software, I'm linking into the CompuServe Sport Rocketry Forum, which has a Hybrid message area as well as a lot of other stuff. There is no charge for Forum access; all you have to do is pick a name and password.

Wednesday, May 8

Added a few pictures and a copy of the Propulsion Polymers motor instructions to the Propulsion Polymers page.
Added detailed drawings and information to the HyperTEK page

Tuesday, April 30

Added two new video clips on the Videos page in the Gallery.

Tuesday, February 26

Wayne Mrazek of NowHybrids.com kindly allowed us to use some text from his Tips page about how to set up and adjust a HyperTEK Drop Stem. Very important information! Check the HyperTEK Info Page.
Got the Video gallery sorted out, more is coming.
Andrew MacMillen kindly let us link to his nifty animated drawing of a floating-injector hybrid in operation. See the RATT Works Info Page.

Monday, February 25

Put up a nice MPG video file of Ivan Galysh flying one of the new HyperTEK I225 motors in a 5 pound PML Endeavour. Nice flight!
There have been some quirks with the message board, pasting parts of other messages into replies. I think I have it fixed now. Let me know if you see anything weird.

Friday, February 1

Added the MSDS for nitrous oxide to the Download page.
Started to build pages for each motor brand. I'd like to have PDF copies of the motor instructions available, at least.

Tuesday, January 22

Finally started building the Gallery pages. More details in the captions to come. Please drop me a note if you have hybrid pictures to share!

Wednesday, January 16

More HyperTEK info: a PDF file with detailed dimensions of all the HT components.
This file describes the changes in NOX characteristics with temperature, for winter flying.

Tuesday, January 8

Added an Excel spreadsheet that shows the HyperTEK motor combinations that are Tripoli certified.

Saturday, December 15, 2001

Boy, has this project been dormant for a while! I'm sorry it's taken so long to get going. Lots of interesting stuff has happened since last March.
HyperTEK now has 39 different motors Tripoli certified, from I through M. Here's a matrix of the HyperTEK motor line.
Since the tragic fire at the AeroTech factory, the future availability of AeroTech hybrids is in doubt. There are some reloads and supplies still in the distribution chain. Hit our message board to get help locating the stuff you need.
Speaking of which...we now have a message board on the site! Feel free to participate. It's free, and there's no need to register or use a password.

Thursday, March 1, 2001

Thanks to Andrew MacMillen, who collected all the hybrid motor stats he could find and edited them into a WRASP/RockSim file! His file is the first entry on our Downloads page.
